Gary brings more than 30 years of strategic, financial, and investigative leadership, including ten years as Chief Financial Officer of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA). He has guided businesses, counsel, sports organizations, and professional athletes through high-stakes negotiations, forensic investigations, operational transformations, and complex financial decisions.

From 2015 to 2024, Gary served as CFO of the NBPA, where he:
Led enterprise financial strategy and operational transformation
Oversaw $250M+ annual cash flow and a $100M investment portfolio
Negotiated the economic terms of three Collective Bargaining Agreements
Led the players' side of the NBA’s $10B annual revenue-sharing process
Directed multiple forensic audits and strengthened financial controls
Launched and scaled the NBPA’s commercial business to $200M+
He now advises organizations and individuals on financial strategy, operational stability, risk mitigation, and growth.
INVESTIGATIONS
Earlier in his career, Gary led investigations and advisory matters at global audit and consulting firms involving financial misconduct, whistleblower claims, accounting irregularities, and control failures. His work has supported boards, regulators, enforcement agencies, and counsel in civil, criminal and regulatory matters.
